Also known as Katti in many parts of India, Teen Patti is a traditional Indian card game played during festivals and gatherings, especially around Diwali. The name basically means “three cards”, and the game objective is quite similar to poker. Eventually, it morphed into casino slots and mobile games.
It’s played with a basic deck with no joker card. Each player gets 3 cards face down, and as the round begins, a minimum stake is collected from everyone. It’s not a 50-50 game, as it does not give you nearly even odds of winning or losing. Sometimes you may have a strong hand and high odds of winning; other times, your odds may be very low unless you bluff successfully.
